Electrical Current Creates Ozone
A direct electrical current triggers an electrochemical reaction that splits water molecules, creating free oxygen atoms that bond together to form ozone (O₃).
Ozonated Water is Sprayed
The freshly generated aqueous ozone is sprayed through the nozzle. A blue indicator light confirms operation. After sanitizing, the ozone naturally reverts to pure water and oxygen.

The Science of Aqueous Ozone
Aqueous ozone is a product of nature, formed when regular water and air become electrically charged. It is one of the most powerful oxidizers on the planet. Ozone has been used worldwide for over a century in municipal water treatment, bottled water production, food processing, and pool sanitation.
Aqueous ozone reduces bacteria by oxidizing their cell walls, rendering them ineffective. After doing its work, ozone naturally reverts to oxygen and water, leaving absolutely no residue. No additives, fragrances, or dyes. No skin, eye, or respiratory irritation. Completely biodegradable.
Diluted bleach has 5,000 times the chemical concentration of aqueous ozone from an Enozo bottle. Yet ozone works 3,000 times faster than chlorine. At approximately 1 ppm concentration, it remains well within OSHA-safe levels.

- Municipal & bottled water: FDA-approved and used by the International Bottled Water Association as an antimicrobial agent.
- Food treatment & processing: the FDA approved ozone as an antimicrobial agent in both gas and aqueous phases. USDA/FSIS approved it for direct contact with meats and poultry, from raw to fresh-cooked.

Enozo simply puts this same chemistry into a spray bottle, an ice-machine cartridge and an industrial sprayer, generated on-demand from ordinary tap water.
Viral Efficacy
What about viruses, including SARS-CoV-2?
In independent lab testing, EnozoPRO substantially reduced a COVID-19 surrogate on hard non-porous surfaces, using scientifically recognized methods.
The reaction works by oxidizing the proteins and nucleic acids that all coronaviruses share. Mutation is irrelevant. Genetic change doesn't protect a virus from oxidation, so new variants don't change the outcome.
Test surrogate: human coronavirus 229E (ATCC VR-740). The product is classified as a pesticidal device, so the EPA has not routinely reviewed it and cannot confirm effectiveness against COVID-19 spread.
